Tt is for Tooth!

February is Dental Health month.  This week we are learning about the letter T and ways we can keep our teeth healthy!

Rockside Dental will be visiting our classroom on Thursday.  The dentist will be doing some activities with the kids to show them how to brush their teeth and things they can do to keep their smile bright!

WHAT IS SKY ZONE?
Imagine a seemingly endless sea of trampolines, all connected to form one massive trampoline surface. Now, imagine that surface enclosed with angled trampolines that allow you to literally bounce off the walls! These patented, all-trampoline, walled playing courts are the foundation of Sky Zone Indoor Park since we opened our first location in 2004. IMPORTANT INFO:
  •         Cost:  $12.00 per child for 1 hour of jump time.  This cost includes the special socks that are required to jump.  Parents are permitted on the mats to help children (if needed) and do not need to pay to jump.  However if parents plan to jump for fun, they will need to pay.
  •         Arrive 10:00-10:15 so we can check in and get equipment to jump.
  •         They will NOT have a concession stand open at this time.
  •         Please RSVP and send $ so that we can reserve our jump time. 
  •         Siblings, friends, other children are invited to come.  If the child is able to walk, they are permitted to jump.

Teddy Bear Week

This is Teddy Bear Week at Preschool!

Tuesday is our Teddy Bear Picnic.  Parent helpers are asked to go directly to the CAFETERIA at 10:00/1:45.  Please send a bear with your child to school.  If you forget, I have extras but I am sure they would rather have their own special bear. 

There are so many great bear stories that it was hard to choose just a few to read this week. Karma Wilson has a series of "Bear" books that the kids love including Old Bear, Bear Feels Sick, and Bear Feels Scared.  

Here are some bear songs that we are learning:

Looking for something to do?

Families can come to Brecksville Nature Center every Saturday and Sunday morning (10 a.m. - noon) to Hand Feed a Chickadee.  The program runs through the end of February.  Their  website with the information is below.
